Lismore Cricket Secures Major Sponsorship Deal and Unveils Exciting Kit Upgrade

Lismore Cricket is thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance the club’s facilities and equipment. Through dedicated fundraising initiatives aimed at acquiring a mobile dome covers, we are proud to reveal that our efforts have been rewarded with generous sponsorship support from esteemed partners.

The cornerstone of our sponsorship drive is the invaluable contribution from Assured Financial Solutions (AFS), who has stepped up as our Gold Sponsor, demonstrating a commitment to the growth and success of cricket in our community. Additionally, we extend our sincere gratitude to Centra Lismore and Micheal O’Leary/The Red House for their Silver Sponsorship, as well as AIB Lismore, The Write Coach, Tara O’Flynn Equine Dentistry, and Boru Sports for joining us as Bronze Sponsors. We’d also like to thank Lismore Food Co, Lismore Heritage Center, Rebel Cricket, and Blossom & Berry for further supporting our fundraising efforts via kind donations.

With the support of our sponsors, we are delighted to announce a dynamic partnership with Boru Sports as our new kit supplier. This collaboration allows us to elevate our team’s appearance and performance with high-quality gear that reflects our dedication to excellence on the field.

The new kit proudly showcases the iconic Lismore blue flower emblem (Read more here), symbolising the deep-rooted connection between Lismore Cricket and the region we proudly represents. Additionally, the new T20 kit in the traditional green and gold of the club, and the new “Lismore Blue” features a stunning depiction of Lismore Castle, a landmark synonymous with the rich history and heritage of our community. Serving as the backdrop to our matches for over 150 years, Lismore Castle embodies the spirit of resilience and tradition that defines our club. With every player adorned in this distinctive kit, we honor our past while embracing the future of Lismore Cricket with pride. We thank Helen and Lismore Castle for their collaboration in this enterprise. We’re confident our players will be proud “putting on the (Lismore) blue” for years to come.

In line with our commitment to providing value to our members, we are excited to unveil a new club shop (coming soon), where members can purchase the latest Lismore Cricket merchandise, including the newly updated kit from Boru Sports. Furthermore, thanks to the generosity of AFS, we are thrilled to offer a special launch price for our playing jerseys. The first 30 units sold of both the white playing top, and the blue T20 top will be available at a subsidised price. We encourage every member to take advantage of this limited-time offer and secure their jerseys promptly to show their support for our sponsors.

The impact of this sponsorship extends beyond our kit upgrade, as it aligns with our broader goals of improving our facilities. Combined with the support received from the Sports Capital grant, we are pleased to announce that the much-anticipated mobile dome covers will be installed early this year, enhancing our training and playing capabilities, and further cementing our legacy as the only all-grass wicket in Munster.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our sponsors for their belief in our vision and their commitment to empowering local cricket. Together, we are forging a path towards a brighter future for Lismore Cricket, and we look forward to celebrating many victories together on and off the field.
