Lismore Cricket Club is delighted to launch CricHIIT this March at Lismore GAA Community Hall, a brand-new four-week fitness and cricket programme designed especially for women and girls – IT’S FREE!!!.
This exciting initiative begins during Women in Sport Week and will run weekly throughout March.
🏏 What is CricHIIT?
CricHIIT is an innovative fitness programme that combines:
- Cricket skills training
- High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
- Strength and cardiovascular development
- A supportive, inclusive environment
The “Cric” element integrates key cricket skills such as batting, bowling and movement drills, while “HIIT” stands for High-Intensity Interval Training — short bursts of energetic exercise followed by rest periods.
The result?
A fun, energetic and empowering workout that improves fitness while introducing (or reintroducing!) participants to cricket in an accessible way.

Sessions will be delivered by appropriately qualified coaches in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
