Heading into the 2026 season, Lismore Cricket Club continues to offer a place for every type of player—from the seasoned competitive veteran to the “haven’t held a bat in a decade” beginner.

Whether you’re looking to climb the Munster League tables or simply enjoy a sunny afternoon on one of the country’s few remaining all-grass wickets, we have a spot for you.

Lismore 1XI

Our premier side competes in Division 3 of the Munster Cricket Union League and the Junior Cup. This squad blends seasoned experience with the energy of our rising youth stars.

  • Track Record: After gaining promotion in 2018, the team secured a league title in 2020.

  • Recent Success: Following a narrow T20 final loss in 2023, the 1st XI bounced back to win the Division 3 T20 competition in 2024.

Lismore 2XI

The 2nd XI competes in Division 4 of the Munster Cricket Union League. This team serves as a vital bridge for our youth players to transition into senior cricket, guided by experienced club regulars in a competitive but supportive environment.

Lismore WXI

New for 2026! We are thrilled to launch our Women and Girls team this season. This is a milestone for the club as we expand our reach and invite more players to take up the sport in a fun, inclusive setting.

The “Social” Side of the Game

The Blues are all about the spirit of cricket: laid-back, easy-going, and open to all ages and abilities. If your primary goals are to get some fresh air, snag an occasional wicket, and enjoy the post-match atmosphere, this is the team for you.

We pride ourselves on our hospitality and our traditional grass wicket, which has made us a favorite destination for touring sides. In recent years, we’ve hosted:

  • Domestic Favorites: RTE, The Theatrical Cavaliers, The Leprechauns, Garda CC, and Mount Juliet.

  • International Visitors: Touring sides from the UK including The White City All Stars and The Old Record Players.
